According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al-Mayadeen quoted Israeli media reporting that Israel has deployed its advanced air defense systems in Cyprus following rising tensions with Turkey.
The reports indicate these systems have a range of approximately 400 kilometers and can detect and intercept various drones, combat fighter jets, and cruise missiles.
This move is part of growing military and security cooperation between Tel Aviv and Nicosia and aims to enhance Israel’s defensive capabilities on its western front.
