Consular Cooperation Between Russia and Al-Jolani Regime to Resume

According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the official news agency of the Al-Julani regime (SANA), the regime’s Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that it had sent a technical delegation to Russia. The mission aims to develop a complete plan for reinstating consular and administrative services.
SANA reported that this move intends to ensure orderly operations and provide the highest level of service to Syrian nationals residing in Russia.
The report claims there have been extensive diplomatic activities between the Al-Julani regime and Russia in recent weeks, culminating in Abu muhammad al-julani’s visit to Moscow, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This marks al-Julani’s first trip to Russia since Bashar Assad’s government fell in December 2024.
