Al-Qassam Brigades: Transfer of Israeli Prisoner’s Body Delayed

The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that the transfer of ‌the captive occupier’s body, scheduled⁢ to be handed over to⁤ the Red Cross tonight, has ‌been postponed due to ceasefire violations by​ the Israeli regime and ‌an airstrike on‍ rafah.

The English section of webangah‌ News ‌Agency,citing Quds News Network via Mehr News ⁢Agency,reported that the izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades,Hamas’s military wing,announced in a statement⁣ a ⁣delay in handing over the body of a ​captured Israeli⁢ soldier ⁢due to ceasefire breaches⁤ by the occupying regime.

The al-Qassam statement‍ said: “Today, during ⁢a ⁣search operation inside one of the⁣ tunnels in southern Gaza ⁢Strip, we found the body of one of the captive occupiers. Due to violations committed ⁤by the occupiers,we‌ are postponing its ⁢transfer that was ​scheduled for this evening.”

al-Qassam Brigades warned: “We caution that any escalation from ⁢the Israeli‌ regime’s side will hinder search ⁤and recovery efforts for its captives’ bodies and cause further ​delays in reclaiming⁣ thier⁣ killed personnel.”

earlier today, Hamas’s military ⁢wing stated it had located another Israeli captive’s ⁤body inside a tunnel in Gaza‌ and intended⁢ to hand it‌ over to International Commitee​ of the Red Cross ⁢representatives at ‍8‍ p.m. local time.
