Fidan Urges Regional Countries to Resolve Their Own Issues

According to webangah News Agency, Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s Foreign Minister, spoke today, Sunday, at a joint press conference with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in Baghdad. He stated that the current era demands peace, development, and mutual cohesion in the region rather of fragmentation.
The Turkish minister added that ther is no reason not to achieve this goal. With its vast resources, culture, human capital, and geography-when appropriate strategies are applied-the region can become prosperous. Ankara will continue supporting Iraq’s peace, security, and development.
Hakan Fidan further stressed that regional countries should address their challenges independently. “We have the capabilities within the region to solve our own problems,” he said. He also confirmed Turkey’s participation in rebuilding Iraq’s infrastructure projects.
