CNN Claims: Trump Administration Has No Plan to Attack Venezuela
CNN claims the Trump governance has no plans to carry out attacks against Venezuela.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency,CNN reported that officials within the Trump administration asserted that the United States currently has no plans to conduct attacks on Venezuelan soil. Military operations in the Caribbean are limited to combating drug trafficking and intelligence gathering.
The report states that these officials informed U.S. lawmakers there is no legal justification for supporting such attacks.
Earlier, The Wall street Journal, citing White House sources, reported that President Trump expressed hesitation about attacking Venezuela due to fears that such an effort to remove Maduro coudl fail.
