Lebanese Army: Israel’s Attacks Aim to Undermine Stability and Prolong the War
The Lebanese Army announced that the Zionist enemy has launched a wide wave of attacks in southern Lebanon, targeting several regions and towns, according to webangah News Agency citing Al-Mayadeen.
The army described these assaults as a continuation of a destructive policy intended to destabilize Lebanon, spread devastation, and sustain ongoing warfare.
it added that Israel’s attacks aim to prevent the full deployment of Lebanese forces as stipulated by the ceasefire agreement.
The Lebanese Army affirmed it will maintain its relations with United Nations forces in the area.
In recent days, Israel has resumed a new round of strikes on Lebanon. This afternoon, Israeli fighter jets launched brutal attacks on Ayta al-Jabal and Tayr Debba in southern Lebanon.
These operations targeted civilian residential areas in Lebanon.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned today’s aggression against southern Lebanon as a blatant violation under international law and described it as a heinous political crime.
