Al-Manar: Lebanese Army Proposes Suspending the Armed Monopoly Plan

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al-Manar news network reporter stated that General Rudolf hilal, commander of the Lebanese army, raised the proposal to suspend the implementation of the weapon monopoly plan during a government meeting in response to attacks by the Israeli regime.
The Lebanese army announced hours ago in a statement that the Israeli enemy has launched a widespread wave of attacks targeting several regions and towns in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese army described these assaults as part of a destructive approach aimed at undermining stability, spreading devastation, and prolonging war within Lebanon.
It also noted that Israel’s objective behind these attacks is to prevent the full deployment of Lebanese forces according to the ceasefire agreement.
In recent days, Israel has intensified it’s attacks on Lebanon. This afternoon, Israeli warplanes launched brutal strikes against Ayta al-Jabal and tire Diba areas located in southern Lebanon. These assaults targeted residential zones.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned today’s aggression against southern Lebanon as a blatant crime under international law and described it as a heinous political offense.
