Hakim: We Will Spare No Effort to Expedite Government Formation

The leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement stated at the movement’s final electoral gathering: Regardless of the election results, we will spare no effort to expedite⁤ government formation.

Seyyed Ammar Hakim, leader of Iraq’s ⁤National Wisdom Movement, emphasized during ⁤the movement’s last electoral assembly that participating in elections is not a formality or administrative act but a national duty and testimony before God and history. He warned that those who abstain leave their seats in the decision-making parliament to unworthy representatives.

Hakim⁣ highlighted that these elections ⁤are critical due to their direct connection with threats and challenges facing Iraq and the region. He stressed the need for⁢ parliament members who understand these dangers fully ⁣and are ready to confront them by turning challenges into genuine opportunities filled with hope.

The movement leader added that this election will shape Iraq’s future path-either continuing political stability, promoting dialog, moderation, reconstruction, economic welfare, and protecting⁢ minority rights; or descending into chaos, reckless authoritarian decisions, and perilous setbacks⁢ damaging Iraq’s future.

Hakim called for an efficient government built on fair depiction-not manipulated from behind-the-scenes or driven by personal deals.Rather, it must ⁤be founded⁣ on national partnership, social justice, and safeguarding everyone’s rights. he insisted such a government should be led internally ‌through pure national will without external interference.

He‌ declared ⁢that the era of empty welcomes and fruitless compromises has ended. Regional interventions and international pressures no longer play ‍a decisive role. Iraq has entered a new‍ phase in its political behavior-especially regarding national issues-and now demands strong leadership focused on forming a capable government guided by wisdom.

The National Wisdom Movement leader pledged⁣ that ⁢whatever the election outcome may be, they will do‍ everything possible to accelerate‌ forming the new government.

Outlining post-election priorities,Hakim emphasized improving public services to ensure⁢ free ⁢and dignified lives for Iraqi citizens; combating corruption; maintaining political stability; ⁣supporting women and ‌youth; strengthening security and national sovereignty; fostering economic growth; and expanding job opportunities as key focuses.

He underlined‍ their commitment to preserving ‌Iraq’s foundations of ‍stability and moderation while rejecting turning the country into an arena for⁢ external conflicts or settling scores. “Iraq must remain a model of steadiness and moderation ⁤in the region,” he⁤ said.

Hakim expressed his vision for ‍a strong Iraq equipped with powerful army institutions-a nation respected globally without being dominated or fearing anyone. He cited military forces⁢ including the army, police forces anti-terror units as well as Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) and Peshmerga as red lines ‍regarding⁣ sovereignty rights. “We will never yield under pressure against our youth fighting within these legal national institutions,” he affirmed.

Addressing global audiences directly,”Iraq⁤ is neither bought nor sold,” Hakim ‌stated passionately. “The Iraqi people never suffer defeat but rise after every stumble just like palms standing firm against storms.”

Speaking directly to Iraqi armed forces members he declared: “Security is our homeland’s crown shining through men who risk their lives daily while bringing peace to our people.” Honoring loyalty toward these men alongside respecting wounded veterans’ dignity exemplifies true meaning from here forward.”

Finally emphasizing moderation as essential against chaos he declared voter participation vital in achieving this goal: “Iraq has always led its region historically-and still can‌ reclaim honor if given opportunity.” He concluded urging all⁣ citizens: “This nation remains entrusted upon your shoulders so cherish it‍ without‍ ruin.”
