Palestine Ministry of Health in Gaza Confirms Receipt of 15 More Martyrs’ Bodies
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shehab News Agency, the Israeli occupation army handed over the bodies of 15 additional martyrs today, Saturday, as part of a prisoner exchange agreement with the resistance. This brings the total number of recovered martyr bodies to 300.
The Gaza Ministry of Health also confirmed receiving 15 bodies from the Red Cross.
The ministry’s statement noted that so far, 89 out of the 300 delivered bodies have been identified.
On Thursday,October 9,Hamas officially announced reaching an agreement to end the war in Gaza and to carry out a prisoner exchange. The Israeli army formally confirmed on Friday afternoon,October 10,that a ceasefire was in effect in Gaza. According to the agreement, israeli forces will remain stationed in specific areas within Gaza while movement between southern and northern Gaza via Al-Rashid Street and Salah al-Din road will be permitted.
the first phase of Trump’s peace plan aimed at ending two years of devastating war in Gaza began on October 9. The plan was signed under mediation by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Simultaneously occurring, Israel continues to obstruct implementation of this initial ceasefire phase and frequently violates it by killing Palestinians and destroying parts of Gaza.
