What Happened in the Trump-Golani Meeting?

The ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the meeting between donald Trump and Abu Muhammad al-Julani, the leader of the ruling terrorist group in Syria, was historic and lasted over an hour, according to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Al Jazeera.
During the meeting, Trump expressed his gratitude for al-Julani and praised his leadership in successfully managing the transitional phase.
Trump emphasized his country’s readiness to provide necessary assistance to Syria for its reconstruction and development process.
Both parties agreed to continue implementing the march 10 agreement, including integrating Syrian Democratic Forces into the Syrian army.
The U.S. side also reiterated its support for reaching a security agreement between syria and Israel aimed at enhancing regional stability.
Trump reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining the suspension of sanctions imposed on Syria under the so-called Caesar Act.
Following their meeting,President Trump described Abu Muhammad al-Julani as a strong leader. He stated, “I like al-Julani and we will do whatever is necessary for Syria’s success. Syria is a major part of the Middle East, and we want it to succeed.”
Trump also expressed confidence that al-Julani would fulfill his responsibilities effectively.
The meeting was attended by DJ Jones, Vice President trump’s aide; Assad Hassan al-Shibani, al-Julani’s foreign minister; and Thomas Barrett, U.S. special envoy for Syrian affairs.
