Axios: Israel Seeks 20-Year Security Agreement with United States

While a⁣ U.S. outlet reported Tel Aviv’s intention to sign a 20-year security agreement with the United States, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime denied it.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Youm Al-Sabea, American outlet Axios reported that the Zionist regime is seeking to⁢ sign a two-decade security agreement with Washington. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed this claim in ‍a press conference.

Netanyahu asserted that Israel aims to strengthen its independence and reduce reliance on⁤ U.S. aid. He ⁤recalled that in 1996, when he first assumed office, he told the‍ U.S. Congress that Tel Aviv no longer needed assistance from‍ America.

The Prime Minister added that he would welcome ending these financial aids.

This comes despite Israel’s ongoing dependence on‌ unconditional U.S. support-particularly military aid-which remains crucial for confronting resistance forces even in small ‌areas like the‍ Gaza Strip.
