Attack on Jolani Faction Bases in Southern Syria
A Syrian security source reports the resumption of armed clashes in the country’s south.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency,a security source reported that armed groups in Suwayda province,southern Syria,have launched attacks against forces loyal to Julani,the self-declared president of the region.
The source added that these groups targeted several security force headquarters affiliated with Julani around the city.
The security official also noted violations of a ceasefire recently declared in this area over past weeks.
reports from yesterday indicated that Julani’s forces and Druze fighters clashed on multiple fronts across Suwayda province.
The fighting involved various light and heavy weapons and continued with significant intensity along several directions.
