Poland: Corruption in Ukraine Undermines Support for Kyiv

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik news via Mehr News Agency, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk addressed the issue of corruption in Ukraine on Saturday and highlighted its impact on the WestS willingness to back Kyiv.
The Polish premier stated, “Corruption in Ukraine negatively affects the West’s willingness to support Kyiv.”
Referring to recent corruption scandals in Ukraine, Tusk added, “We continue to support Ukraine; however, as time goes on, it becomes more challenging to convince other partners to maintain solidarity-especially when such cases come to light.”
Tusk also noted that he had long warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the urgent need to combat corruption.
It is worth noting that several financial and economic corruption cases have been uncovered in Ukraine so far,indicating that Kyiv has exploited Western aid under the pretext of fearing Russia.
