Hamas Movement Issues Statement on Gaza Prisoner List

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab News Agency, Hamas announced that under the framework of a ceasefire agreement and prisoner exchange, and after more than a month of continuous communication through intermediaries, the Palestinian resistance received a list containing 1,468 names of Gaza prisoners.
Following verification with relevant authorities, Hamas confirmed the accuracy of all names except for 11 cases still under investigation.
Hamas emphasized that multiple obstacles arose due to obstruction, delays, and manipulation by the occupying regime regarding some names. Thes issues prevented issuance of this list during previous rounds. However, after extensive efforts to verify it, the Prisoners’ Facts Office decided to publish the list through its official channels.
The statement added that full responsibility for the lives of all prisoners and detainees-along with any tampering or disruption involving this list-rests with the occupying Zionist regime.
The movement also noted that despite ongoing concealment by this regime of additional prisoner names held forcibly in its prisons and detention centers-and refusal to disclose them-efforts continue around the clock to determine their fate.
In closing, Hamas called on mediator countries to pressure the occupying regime to reveal all prisoners’ identities promptly. It urged guarantees for their health and human rights alongside an end to gross violations of international laws committed by this regime.
