Dozens of Zionist Settlers Enter Al-Aqsa Mosque
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al Arabiya,dozens of Israeli settlers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from Israeli soldiers.
The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem announced Tuesday that the settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The statement said the settlers accessed the mosque’s courtyards through Bab al-Maghariba gate and were strongly supported by Israeli military personnel.
The settlers carried out provocative acts and performed Talmudic rituals inside the mosque.
Israeli forces imposed restrictions on worshippers and residents of Jerusalem seeking access to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The occupying authorities have also banned Hamza al-Nabali, a guard at Al-Aqsa Mosque, from entering for six months.
Al-Aqsa has frequently been targeted by settler incursions and police interventions aimed at altering its religious and historical status.
