Trump Seeks to Designate Muslim Brotherhood’s Branch as Terrorist Organization

The White House has confirmed that President Biden has initiated steps to designate specific branches of the Muslim Brotherhood as Foreign Terrorist Organizations by the United States, according to webangah News Agency.
Separately, Al Jazeera reported that White House spokesperson Caroline Lewitt addressed the topic of peace in Ukraine. She stated that some disagreements remain regarding the proposed peace plan and that U.S. teams continue working on resolving them.
Lewitt emphasized that U.S. teams are working around the clock to reach an agreement in Ukraine.
She added that former President Donald Trump remains optimistic about achieving a settlement in Ukraine.
“Trump wants to see a resolution in Ukraine quickly and trusts his team is doing everything they can to accomplish this,” Lewitt said.
The spokesperson also noted there are limits on continuing arms sales to NATO for transfer to Ukraine, underscoring Trump’s desire for an end to the conflict.
She described discussions between American and Ukrainian delegations as very constructive and fruitful.
Lewitt reiterated Trump’s optimism about ending the conflict in Ukraine and stated that some clauses of the peace plan are still under review and refinement.
The proposed peace framework was developed with consideration given to both Russian and Ukrainian positions, she explained.
While emphasizing ongoing arms sales from the U.S. to NATO, Lewitt clarified such transfers cannot continue indefinitely.
She further asserted no unlawful orders were issued to American military personnel during Trump’s tenure as president.
