White House: Critical Details Remain for Russia-Ukraine Peace Talks

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and The Hill, reported that White House spokesperson Caroline Lewitt claimed the United States has made “meaningful progress toward reaching a peace agreement” in Ukraine.
The White House spokesperson asserted that over the past week,the U.S.has advanced considerably by bringing Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table in pursuit of a peace deal.
She added that sensitive-but not insurmountable-details remain to be resolved, requiring further negotiations among Ukraine, Russia, and the United states.
Earlier, ABC News quoted a U.S. official stating that Ukraine has agreed to the terms of a U.S.-proposed peace agreement. The Ukrainians have accepted the peace deal presented by the U.S., with some minor details still under review.
