Trump stated that⁤ his original 28-point ⁢plan was merely a preliminary roadmap for resolving the⁢ Ukraine crisis.

The U.S.president⁤ noted,‌ “Steve⁢ Witkoff,” his envoy, will meet next week with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Claiming that‍ Russia is offering some concessions in⁣ ongoing negotiations, Trump added that ‌no deadline has⁣ been set for reaching an ⁤agreement ‌to end the war in Ukraine.

He whent ⁤on ⁢to‍ say that the‌ conflict in Ukraine is moving along a defined path and disputed ⁢territories may ultimately⁢ be annexed ‍by Russia.

Trump also said halting hostilities and foregoing⁤ any new‌ territorial demands ‍from Ukraine would be considered concessions from Russia within the framework of a U.S. peace⁢ plan.

He emphasized that Ukraine must agree to a deal; or else, fighting could continue for years, noting RussiaS military advantage over Kyiv.
