Naftali Bennett Conditions Support for Netanyahu’s Pardon

according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, former Israeli Prime Minister naftali Bennett said he would support a deal that stops the trial if current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resigns from power.
This comes as Channel 15 of Israeli television quoted Netanyahu’s close associates, reporting that he will neither withdraw from political activities nor acknowledge the charges against him.
Netanyahu has submitted a letter to Israel’s President Isaac Herzog, requesting a pardon regarding his ongoing court cases.
In his pardon request to Herzog, Netanyahu neither admitted guilt nor apologized; though, submitting an official request implies a tacit acceptance of the charges brought against him in court.
Netanyahu and his family face multiple allegations in over two cases involving bribery, abuse of power, and corruption.
