Phone calls to the line: Situation at Belarus border deteriorating

According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Al Jazeera adn Mehr News Agency, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, stated on Monday: “We fully support a peace agreement that upholds justice for Ukraine and preserves Kyiv’s sovereignty with necessary security guarantees.”
She added that efforts to secure Ukraine’s financial needs will continue, with coordination planned among partners in the coalition of supporters.
von der Leyen then claimed that the situation on the border with Belarus is worsening as balloons increasingly violate Lithuanian airspace.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry announced hours earlier that Lithuania’s chargé d’affaires had been summoned to express minsk’s protest over Lithuania’s drone incursions into Belarusian airspace. Minsk described these violations as provocative acts and reserved the right to take any necessary measures to protect its sovereignty.
