Suicide Bombing Targets Police Vehicle in Northwest Pakistan, Killing One

A suicide bombing targeting a police vehicle in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan has resulted in the death of one officer and injuries to six others. The attack occurred in a region bordering Afghanistan.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a suicide bomber attacked a police vehicle in the Lakki Marwat area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwestern Pakistan. Initial reports indicate that one police officer was killed, and six people sustained injuries in the blast, which occurred in a region bordering Afghanistan.

A spokesman for the Lakki Marwat police, Asif Hassan, stated that the suicide bomber detonated his explosives near a vehicle carrying security forces.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the attack in a released statement.
