China Calls Palestinian Cause Just, Criticizes US Security Strategy on Taiwan
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, China has voiced strong support for the Palestinian cause, describing it as just, while also criticizing the United States’ national security strategy concerning Taiwan.
During a press briefing in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian highlighted the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, stating that China would continue providing assistance to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. He emphasized China’s willingness to work with the international community to achieve a lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Lin Jian also addressed the Taiwan issue, warning that the U.S. national security strategy on Taiwan contravenes the One China policy and interferes in China’s internal affairs.
Turning to the conflict in Ukraine, the spokesperson affirmed China’s commitment to using all available political and diplomatic tools to resolve the crisis. He stated that China would continue to play a constructive role in achieving a ceasefire in Ukraine and establishing regional security and stability.
Additionally, the Chinese official urged Japan to refrain from actions that could destabilize the region.
