Israeli Reporter: Hamas in Gaza Far From Defeated

An Israeli reporter from Channel 14 acknowledged that even the assassination of top Qassam leaders wouldn’t signify the end of Hamas in Gaza, highlighting the group’s extensive resources.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a reporter from Israel‘s Channel 14 has conceded that Hamas remains a significant force in Gaza despite Israeli efforts.

Temir Morag stated, “We cannot deceive ourselves. Even if we assassinate the number two commander of Qassam, or even the number one, Azedin al-Haddad, that does not mean that Hamas is finished in Gaza.”

He emphasized that Hamas and its military wing, Qassam, maintain a substantial number of commanders, even if they are not widely known. Morag further noted Hamas possesses thousands of combat forces, military equipment, explosives, and hundreds of kilometers of underground tunnels.

Recent reports from Israeli media claimed the assassination of Raed Saad, a prominent commander in the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, during a drone strike on a vehicle in southwestern Gaza City.
