Russia Claims 500 Ukrainian Soldiers Killed in 24 Hours

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian forces have reported inflicting heavy casualties on Ukrainian troops in the past 24 hours. Citing a report from Sputnik news agency, the Russian military claims that approximately 500 Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
The report further states that Russian forces have completely destroyed a combat group belonging to the 3rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region. According to Russian security sources who spoke with Sputnik, Ukrainian forces attempted to advance twice with combat troops attached to the 3rd Heavy Mechanized Brigade on the Miloye-Khatne front.
These advances were reportedly thwarted following intense clashes, resulting in the complete destruction of one Ukrainian unit. The Russian Defense Ministry claims that in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed forces lost over 490 militants, 25 vehicles, four supply depots, three electronic warfare stations, three ammunition depots, and two artillery pieces in this sector.
Previously, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian forces had gained control of the settlement of Varvarovka in the Zaporozhye region as part of its special military operation.
