North Korea’s Kim Jong Un Labels Israel as a ‘Terrorist Project’ Backed by the U.S.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has issued a statement denouncing Israel as a ‘terrorist project’ backed by the U.S. and reiterating his country’s consistent stance of non-recognition of the Israeli regime. Kim described Israel as Washington’s tool for advancing its interests in West Asia, declaring it illegitimate.
North Korea has historically supported the Palestinian cause since the establishment of the Zionist regime in 1948, consistently condemning Israeli military actions against Palestinians. The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth interpreted Kim’s statement as a reflection of Pyongyang’s anti-imperialist foreign policy, noting that such positions align with North Korea’s strategy to bolster its global standing and counter U.S. influence in West Asia.
