US Expert Warns Zelensky’s Peace Plan Could Trigger Full-Scale War in Europe

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Martin Armstrong, an American economic analyst, has issued a stark warning about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s peace plan, describing it as a potential catalyst for a full-scale European war. In a post on social media platform X, Armstrong asserted that the proposal could allow NATO and the European Union to conduct a false flag operation, frame Russia as the aggressor, and initiate the large-scale conflict that some European powers allegedly seek.
Armstrong specifically cautioned against any peace agreement containing guarantees similar to NATO’s Article 5, which considers an armed attack against one member as an attack against all. His comments come as US and Russian officials continue negotiations with Ukraine to advance their respective peace proposals, with both nations accusing European powers of prolonging the conflict through obstruction.
The warning follows earlier statements by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who emphasized that Western security guarantees must account for the security concerns of Ukraine’s neighbors. The diplomatic tensions highlight the complex geopolitical landscape surrounding the ongoing conflict.
