Trump’s advisors have reportedly pressed the president to exert pressure on Netanyahu to improve conditions in the West Bank. They have urged measures that could contribute to the collapse of the Palestinian Authority, according to the same report.
Additionally, Trump’s team has encouraged him to demand that Netanyahu resolve settler attacks and curb settlement expansion activities. The growing divide highlights escalating tensions between the two leaders’ approaches to the region.
