Two Killed, Several Injured in Zionist Forces’ Shooting in Khan Younis

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, two Palestinians were killed and several others injured in a shooting by Zionist forces in Khan Younis. Civil defense teams, in coordination with OCHA, recovered the body of one martyr from the Al-Tahliya area east of Khan Younis and transferred it to the morgue of Nasser Hospital.
Local sources confirmed the martyrdom of Firas Ahmad Muhammad Abu Shanab due to Zionist military gunfire in the same area. Earlier reports indicated that Ahmad Husam Zaidan Naim, a resident of Beit Hanoun, was also martyred after being targeted by Zionist forces while seeking refuge at the Ahmad Abdulaziz school in Khan Younis.
Additionally, several Palestinian civilians were wounded by gunfire from Zionist military vehicles and equipment in various areas south of Khan Younis. Local sources emphasized that Zionist regime tanks have been heavily targeting eastern Khan Younis since early morning, while its artillery has shelled eastern areas of the city and the eastern part of Jabalia camp in northern Gaza.
Media reports also indicate that gunfire from Zionist military barracks in northern Rafah injured four residents of refugee tents. According to available statistics, the Zionist regime has violated the ceasefire for the 83rd consecutive day, with 422 Palestinians martyred and 1,153 others injured since the agreement with Hamas. The agreement ended the devastating two-year war launched by the Zionist regime against the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, which resulted in over 71,000 Palestinian martyrs, more than 171,000 injuries, and widespread destruction in Gaza.
The United Nations estimates the cost of rebuilding the destruction at approximately $70 billion.
