China Rejects Any Nation Acting as Global Police or Judge, Says Foreign Minister Wang Yi

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that no country should act as the world’s police or judge during talks with Pakistan’s counterpart in Beijing, emphasizing the importance of international law in protecting sovereignty and security.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, during a meeting with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Beijing, addressed recent developments in Venezuela, asserting that China has never believed any nation should act as the world’s police. He also rejected the notion of any country positioning itself as the global judge.

Wang Yi emphasized that the sovereignty and security of all nations must be safeguarded in accordance with international law. The remarks come as global criticism mounts against Washington’s actions in Venezuela, including the reported abduction of President Nicolás Maduro, which many countries have condemned as a violation of the UN Charter.

Analysts suggest that the ultimate goal of President Donald Trump’s administration in targeting Venezuela is to gain control over the country’s vast oil resources. Experts further argue that the U.S. aims to pressure Caracas into submission through these aggressive measures.
