Opposition Groups Attack Security Points in Syria’s Suwayda

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, opposition groups affiliated with the Jolani faction launched mortar attacks on security points in Syria‘s Suwayda province. A television network linked to the Jolani regime reported attempts by opposition factions to infiltrate the axis of Al-Mansoura village in western Suwayda.
Videos from the area captured the sounds of clashes between internal security forces and local groups near Al-Mansoura. Suwayda province has witnessed a ceasefire agreement since July following armed conflicts between Bedouin tribes and Druze communities, though sporadic violence persists.
Suleiman Abdulbaqi, head of Suwayda’s internal security office, warned of a ‘Zionist scheme’ to divide Syria through Suwayda and reported sightings of the Zionist regime’s flag being raised in the city.
