Yemeni Clerics Blame U.S. for Pakistan Mosque Bombing, Condemn Attack

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Yemeni Scholars Association has issued a strong condemnation of the horrific terrorist bombing incident at a Shiite mosque in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. The Yemeni religious body emphasized in its statement that it holds the United States principally responsible for this crime, asserting that it was perpetrated with the participation of Washington’s Takfiri mercenaries.

The Association of Yemeni Scholars further urged Muslims worldwide to maintain their vigilance against American conspiracies that aim to undermine the unity of the Islamic Ummah. The statement clarified that such criminal acts have no connection to the clear religion of Islam and that Islam disavows them. These actions were likened to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip.

On Friday afternoon, Pakistani police sources reported the explosion at a mosque in Islamabad, which resulted in the martyrdom of 36 people. The terrorist group ISIS claimed responsibility for this terrorist attack, which occurred at the mosque and Hussainiya of “Khadijah al-Kubra” in the “Tarlai” area.
