Israeli Forces Deploy in West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem Ahead of Ramadan

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli military forces have been stationed in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. Hebrew-language media reports indicate that the deployment is a precautionary measure due to fears of potential clashes between Palestinians and Israeli settlers.
The move comes as attacks by Israeli settlers against West Bank residents have intensified since the beginning of the year. The Israeli regime routinely increases its military presence in these areas during Ramadan.
Additionally, the Israeli regime has imposed severe restrictions on Palestinian worshippers seeking to access Al-Aqsa Mosque. While Tel Aviv has consistently accused Palestinians of escalating tensions, it has now acknowledged that settler attacks are the primary cause of unrest.
Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israeli military, has also admitted to the escalation of violent attacks by settlers.
