UN Rapporteur: Condemnations of Israeli Crimes Insufficient, Practical Action Needed

Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in Palestine, has criticized the Zionist regime’s expansionist policies, emphasizing the Palestinian people’s legal right to self-determination. Albanese asserted that mere condemnations are insufficient given the scale of crimes against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, urging practical action.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in Palestine, has strongly criticized the expansionist policies of the Zionist regime, emphasizing the Palestinian people’s legal right to self-determination.

Albanese stated that the international community’s reactions are inadequate, asserting that in the face of the scale of crimes and violations against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, issuing condemnatory statements is not enough and practical measures must be taken.

Albanese warned that the Israeli regime, by advancing its plans to annex the occupied West Bank, continues to blatantly and consistently violate international laws, with the ultimate goal of seizing and annexing Palestinian lands “without the presence of the Palestinian people.”

The UN Special Rapporteur concluded by supporting the trampled rights of the Palestinian people, noting that the people of Palestine have the full right to self-determination and the liberation of the occupied territories.
