Pakistan denied any involvement in the attack on Yemen
The spokesman of the Pakistan Navy denied all media reports regarding the country's participation in the US and British attack on Yemen. |
According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the Pakistan Navy announced today (January 24) that the media and social media reports about this country’s participation in the American and Israeli attacks against Yemen are not true.
Pakistan Navy spokesman told The Express Tribune newspaper that the dispatch of warships to the Arabian Sea was aimed at “supporting international shipping” and had nothing to do with the war in Gaza.
Earlier, the commander of the US Air Force in West Asia announced that on Friday morning, in cooperation with England, with more than 100 Air and sea guided missiles attacked 60 targets in 16 military bases in Yemen. The Americans carried out another aggressive attack against Yemen on Saturday morning.
On January 18, the Pakistan Navy stopped deploying its warships in the Makran Sea with the aim of what it called “protecting the free flow of navigation”.
According to the Director General of Public Relations of the Pakistan Navy, two to three warships will have continuous patrols in the areas where international and Pakistani commercial ships travel.
The Indian Navy also deployed its three warships in Makran Sea late last year.
