Hamas Delegation Arrives in Cairo to Monitor Gaza Ceasefire Implementation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a delegation representing the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has entered Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The delegation is headed by Khalil al-Hayya, the movement’s leader in Gaza. The primary objective of this visit is to supervise the execution of the agreed-upon ceasefire arrangements across the Gaza Strip.
Informed sources indicated that the Hamas delegation’s travel to Cairo is situated within the movement’s broader efforts, conducted in cooperation with mediators, aimed at facilitating aid delivery to the Palestinian populace and securing immediate improvements across various critical sectors within the Gaza Strip.
The comprehensive ceasefire agreement in Gaza officially came into effect on October 10, 2025. This agreement followed two years of destructive conflict waged by the Zionist regime, which was supported by the United States, against the Palestinian nation. However, reports confirm that Tel Aviv consistently violates the terms of this fragile truce.
