Russian Public Trust in President Putin Reaches 78% in Latest Poll

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Public Opinion Research Center announced in its latest survey that the level of trust among Russians in Vladimir Putin, the country’s president, reached 78 percent between February 9th and 15th.
Based on results published by TASS news agency, this poll involved 1600 adult participants. The research center also reported that the approval rate for the president’s performance during the same period was 74 percent.
The poll results also indicated that 46.5 percent of participants expressed satisfaction with the government’s performance. Meanwhile, the support level for Mikhail Mishustin, the Prime Minister of Russia, reached 48 percent, and 58.6 percent of the Russian people stated they trusted him.
