Conflicting Claims Emerge Over Control of Al-Tineh City in West Sudan

Intensifying clashes in western Sudan have led to contradictory reports regarding the control of Al-Tineh city, with both the Rapid Support Forces and Sudanese army-aligned forces claiming dominance.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, amid heightened conflict in western Sudan, sources associated with the opposing factions have presented conflicting information regarding the control of Al-Tineh city.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have asserted that they have taken control of the border city of Al-Tineh, located in North Darfur State. This claim was made concurrently with statements from the spokesperson of the joint forces allied with the Sudanese army, who declared that the Sudanese army had countered an attack by RSF forces on the Al-Tineh region.
Al-Tineh city is situated in North Darfur State in western Sudan. Its strategic position significantly escalates the importance of this dispute.
