Switzerland Condemns US and Israeli Attacks on Iran as Violation of International Law

Switzerland’s Defense Minister, Martin Fuster, has stated that military actions by the United States and Israel against Iran contravene international law and the principle of refraining from the use of force. The Swiss government urges all parties to cease hostilities to protect civilians.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Swiss Defense Minister Martin Fuster asserted on Sunday that attacks by the United States and Israel against Iran constitute a violation of international law. In an interview with the newspaper SonntagsZeitung, Fuster elaborated that the Swiss Federal Council believes any strike on Iran breaches international legal norms and the fundamental principle prohibiting the resort to force.
Fuster further emphasized that Switzerland is calling upon all involved parties to halt military engagements to ensure the safety and protection of civilian populations.
