G7 Finance Ministers to Discuss Strategic Oil Reserves Amid Price Surge

Finance ministers from G7 nations are scheduled to convene and deliberate on the strategic release of emergency oil reserves, a move prompted by escalating crude oil prices that have sparked concern among industrialized countries.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the finance ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) nations are set to hold a meeting to discuss the utilization of their emergency oil reserves. This action will be coordinated with the International Energy Agency (IEA).
The decision to consider tapping into strategic reserves comes as oil prices have seen a consistent increase following the commencement of the American-Zionist aggression against Iran on February 28, 2026. This sustained rise in oil prices has generated significant concerns among the world’s leading industrial nations.
