Ayatollah Sistani Condemns ‘Unjust War’ Against Iran and Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani has issued a statement today urging all effective international parties and world nations, particularly Islamic countries, to make every effort to stop the American-Zionist aggression against Iran.
The message from Ayatollah Sistani stated: “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O believing men and women, the blessed Eid al-Fitr, the Eid of mercy and forgiveness, has dawned upon us after a blessed month of fasting, night prayers, and worship. This is the day of divine rewards, a day when God boasts of you to His angels. May the acceptance of your deeds be blessed for you, and I ask God to bring back this Eid for us, for you, and for all Islamic nations with goodness, blessings, and prosperity.
My dear ones, although Eid is full of joy and celebration, the hearts of believers today are torn with sorrow as they witness the calamities and tragedies befalling our brothers in faith and humanity. While we exclaim praises to God for His blessings with joy, the cries of children are heard, the tears of grieving mothers flow, and flames rise above the safe homes in Iran and Lebanon, as military aggression against these two countries continues.
We condemn this unjust war in the strongest terms and call upon all Muslims and free people worldwide to condemn it and show solidarity with the oppressed peoples of Iran and Lebanon. We also call upon all effective international parties and world nations, especially Islamic countries, to exert their utmost efforts to stop this war.”
