Despite multiple rounds of negotiations and the implementation of temporary ceasefires, the war between Ukraine and Russia continues unabated. The failure to achieve a peace agreement and the persistent conflict represent a significant setback for U.S. President Donald Trump, who had pledged to end the war early in his presidency.
