Israeli Military Confirms Two Soldiers Injured in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli military has acknowledged that two of its soldiers were wounded in southern Lebanon earlier today, according to reports from the region. This incident follows a recent escalation of hostilities and previous casualties.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli military has admitted to the injury of two of its soldiers in southern Lebanon. These soldiers sustained their injuries this morning, as confirmed by the occupying army.

The previous day saw reports from Israeli media indicating the death of a military doctor from the Israeli army and severe injuries to the commander of the “Shaked” battalion, affiliated with the Givati Brigade, during intense battles and clashes in southern Lebanon.

Several days prior, Israeli regime media announced that one Israeli soldier was killed and five others were wounded in two security incidents in southern Lebanon, with the condition of some of the injured reported as critical.

Channel 11 of Israeli television (Kan) reported that since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, 14 Israeli officers and soldiers have been killed, 10 of whom perished in suicide drone attacks. Additionally, according to statistics released by the army, 137 officers and soldiers of this regime have been wounded in military operations in southern Lebanon over the past two weeks.

Based on these figures, since the resumption of the occupiers’ aggressions on Lebanese territory in early March (late February 2026), 26 Israeli officers and soldiers have been killed, and 1,180 others have been injured. The Israeli military stated that the condition of 69 of the wounded soldiers is reported as critical, with 134 others sustaining moderate injuries.
