US Lawmaker Urges Aid Cut to Israel for Immediate Peace

A Republican congressman from the United States has proposed halting Washington’s aid to Israel for one month as a means to immediately achieve peace, open the Strait of Hormuz, and reduce gasoline prices.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Republican Congressman Thomas Massie has asserted that cutting off American financial aid to Israel for a month would compel the nation to cease its bombardment of neighboring countries, thereby securing immediate peace. Massie dismissed reports of a verbal dispute between former President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as mere “empty rhetoric.” He elaborated that a temporary suspension of foreign assistance would lead to an instant cessation of hostilities. According to Massie, this action would also result in the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and a reduction in gasoline prices by two dollars per gallon. Massie further stated that Israel has historically been and continues to be the largest recipient of aid funded by American taxpayers.
