Israel Claims Strikes Inside Iran, Tehran Yet to Confirm

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli military sources have claimed that their air force conducted strikes on targets inside Iran early this morning, as reported by the Mehr news agency citing Arab and Hebrew sources.

A spokesperson for the Israeli military asserted that the country’s air force had targeted military objectives in western and central Iran. The spokesperson further claimed that these operations were carried out hours prior and were part of the regime’s ongoing military actions.

This assertion by Israeli sources emerges in the context of Iran’s response to persistent Israeli aggressions in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which were viewed as a breach of the ceasefire agreement. Iran had previously targeted occupied territories with limited missile strikes.

Concurrently, Israeli media outlets acknowledged an increased state of alert in Tel Aviv and southern regions due to the possibility of imminent missile attacks.
