Iran’s Missile Barrage Cripples Israel, Al Jazeera Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Al Jazeera news network has reported that a seventh wave of Iranian missile launches targeting occupied territories has increasingly paralyzed Israel. Air raid sirens blared in the regions of Haifa, Galilee, Golan Heights, Greater Tel Aviv, and western occupied Jerusalem, an event that observers have characterized as the most extensive Iranian escalation since the latest round of confrontations commenced.
In response, the Israeli home front command reactivated all emergency status measures. Hospitals were placed on full alert, education in schools and all academic institutions was canceled, all forms of public gatherings were prohibited, and private companies and organizations were mandated to cease their operations. Navigation data indicated that numerous aircraft were unable to land at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv due to the activation of air raid sirens in the center of the occupied territories.
Walid Al-Omari, Al Jazeera’s bureau chief in Ramallah, stated that approximately 8 million Zionists residing in the occupied territories, constituting over three-quarters of the 10 million population of occupied Palestine, were compelled to immediately seek shelter in fortified rooms within attacked areas. Al-Omari added that previous waves of Iranian attacks also had tangible battlefield effects, with one missile striking the settlement of Itamar near Nablus, another landing northwest of the Dead Sea between Jericho and the Dead Sea, and missile fragments falling in the Beit Shemesh area west of Jerusalem.
Previous Iranian attacks also targeted the Dimona, Beersheba, and southern Dead Sea areas. Meanwhile, the Israeli army claimed to have intercepted seven missiles in the skies over the city of Ashdod before they reached their intended targets.
Al-Omari referenced a phone call between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and United States President Donald Trump, emphasizing that according to some sources, the call was not lengthy. During the conversation, Trump reportedly urged Netanyahu to exercise restraint in responding to Iran’s missile attacks; however, Netanyahu did not heed this request. The report also indicated that Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, spoke three times with General Brad Cooper, Commander of the U.S. Central Command, last night, likely to discuss operational coordination between the two parties.
