Israeli Security Cabinet Convenes Amidst Escalating Tensions with Iran

The Israeli security cabinet convened today under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss security and political matters related to the ongoing conflict with Iran, following recent retaliatory strikes. The meeting is being held underground amidst heightened regional tensions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is presiding over a security cabinet meeting in Tel Aviv focused on security and political issues pertaining to the war. The session is currently underway.

Details regarding the decisions made during this meeting, which is reportedly taking place underground in light of renewed confrontations with Iran, have not yet been released.

The Islamic Republic of Iran launched significant missile attacks targeting Israeli military positions in the northern and central occupied territories overnight. This action was in response to Israeli provocations, including violations of the ceasefire and repeated strikes on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Despite warnings from the Islamic Republic of Iran indicating a lack of response to Iran’s cautionary strikes, the Israeli army targeted some military positions and energy infrastructure earlier today. These Israeli attacks were met with a response from Iran’s armed forces, initiating Operation Nasr against the Israeli regime.
