Hezbollah Intensifies Attacks on Israeli Positions Amid Rising Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah announced that it targeted a new artillery position of the Israeli army in the Sarda farm area with an explosive drone. The group also reported a multi-stage rocket attack on gatherings of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers in the southwest outskirts of Majdal Zoun.

Israeli media indicated that the Israeli army’s air defense system was activated in the Kiryat Shmona area, although air raid sirens had not sounded prior to the defense system’s activation.

Hezbollah further stated that it struck a newly established artillery position of the Israeli army in the town of Al-Adeisa in southern Lebanon with rockets. The Lebanese Islamic Resistance also reported a rocket attack on a gathering of military vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli army in the Tal al-Sal’a area in the town of Al-Qantara, southern Lebanon.

These intensified attacks by Hezbollah come as a recent Israeli airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut has brought the fragile ceasefire between the two sides to the brink of complete collapse, sparking a new wave of security tensions in the region.
