China Welcomes Iran-US Understanding to End War, Hopes for Peaceful Resolution
China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed hope that all parties will adhere to peaceful options through dialogue and negotiation, welcoming the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States aimed at ending the ongoing conflict. The ministry also indicated that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz would benefit regional countries and the international community.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, China‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced its welcome of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States intended to bring an end to the war. The ministry emphasized its hope that all parties will remain committed to the path of peace through dialogue and negotiation.
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs further stated that it hopes the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran will be signed as planned. The ministry also commented that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz would be advantageous for the countries of the region and the global community.
