Putin Welcomes Iran-US Understanding to End Conflict

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a joint press conference with the President of the Philippines that Russia welcomes the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States intended to end the war. He added that this understanding could serve as a solid basis for future agreements.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced in a statement that Moscow welcomes the achievement of an agreement to end the conflict between the United States and Iran, which has been signed at the level of the presidents of the two countries. The statement further emphasized the importance of all parties involved adhering to the understandings reached between Iran and the United States, and preventing any new escalation of tensions.
