Lebanon, Hezbollah Committed to Ceasefire Based on Israeli Adherence, Says Nabih Berri

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri announced that Lebanon and Hezbollah will remain committed to the ceasefire as long as the Israeli regime fully and comprehensively adheres to the agreement.
Berri further emphasized Lebanon and Hezbollah’s commitment to the ceasefire, conditional on complete Israeli compliance, in a statement referencing the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States. He suggested this commitment could help facilitate the success of these talks.
Previously, an informed source told Al Mayadeen News Network that the negotiation delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran had suspended its trip to Switzerland, which was scheduled for the commencement of the first round of talks. This decision was reportedly made in response to the continued attacks by the Israeli regime on southern Lebanon.
The source added that the Iranian delegation was prepared to travel to Switzerland to begin the first round of negotiations. However, following recent developments and the escalation of Israeli aggressions, the decision was made to halt the trip.
